Most AI drafts. Lane finishes.

Lane reads your calendar, your inbox, your pipeline and your books, and then it acts — reschedules the appointment, closes the deal, publishes the page, sends the statement. It works because it lives inside the system that holds the data, not bolted on beside it through an integration that can only read.

What it actually does

Read and write, across the whole system

Lane carries tools for searching contacts, deals, threads, tasks and forms, and separate tools for actually changing them — booking an appointment, moving a deal stage, tagging a contact in bulk, publishing a form, drafting a broadcast. The write half is the part most AI in this category does not have.

Scoped by the same permissions your staff have

Every tool call runs through the capability engine before it executes, so Lane cannot do something the person who asked for it could not do themselves. A tool with no capability mapping is refused rather than allowed — the fail-closed direction.

Proposes, then applies

Consequential changes arrive as an action card with the exact diff — the slot it will move, the stage it will set, the copy it will send. You approve or you edit. Nothing consequential happens silently.

Speaks on the phone

The same agent answers inbound calls with a real voice, books into the same calendar and writes the same records. It is not a separate voice product with its own knowledge base to keep in sync.

Writes automations you can read

Describe a rule in a sentence and Lane authors the workflow behind it — trigger, branches, waits, sends — as a graph on the canvas you can open, check and edit. The DSL is the source of truth, so what Lane wrote and what you drew are the same object.

The daily brief

Every morning Lane synthesises what happened and what needs you — the quote that went quiet, the double-booking, the invoice at fourteen days, the review that came in at two stars. It is a short read, not a dashboard to interpret.

Every action is a row in the audit log

What Lane changed, when, on whose behalf and with what payload, in the same trail your staff's actions land in. An AI acting on customer data with no record of it is a compliance problem, not a feature.

It knows your business, not the internet

Lane answers from your services, your hours, your policies, your prices and your past conversations — assembled from your settings, not guessed. Ask it something it has no basis for and it says so.

How much it does on its own is a dial, and you hold it

The same request takes a different path depending on where the dial sits. It only ever moves when you move it.

Lane reads it and works out what it would do
A customer asks for something
Lower on the dial
It waits for youThe reply is drafted; nothing is sent.
You approve or edit
Higher on the dial
It acts, inside your permissionsAnd writes down what it did.
You see it in the audit trail

Lane can never do something the person who asked could not do themselves — every tool call goes through the same permission engine your staff do, and a tool with no permission mapped is refused rather than allowed.

The questions people actually ask

What is Worklane?

Worklane is an all-in-one operating system for service businesses. It replaces the stack most operators cobble together - CRM, inbox, calendar and booking, deals pipeline, invoicing, review collection, forms, marketing site and broadcasts - with one system, plus an AI assistant called Lane that handles routine follow-up.

How much does Worklane cost?

Three plans, billed monthly: Starter $199/mo for a single business, Pro $399/mo for up to five businesses plus the AI voice agent, and Agency $999/mo for unlimited businesses with white-label client views. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial and no credit card is required to start. There is no free tier.

Is there a free trial, and do I need a credit card?

Yes - every plan comes with a 14-day free trial, and no credit card is required to start it. You can cancel at any time.

What kinds of businesses use Worklane? Do you work with yoga studios, gyms or fitness classes?

Worklane is built for appointment- and class-based service businesses. We have dedicated setups for med spas, workshops and classes, HVAC, salons, cleaning companies, dental practices, pet services, auto services, coaches, real estate, religious groups and community groups. A yoga or fitness studio fits the workshops-and-classes shape: recurring class schedules, waitlists that refill cancellations, memberships and class packs, and automatic review requests. If you want to be sure it fits how you run, book a free Intro Call and we will walk through it with you.

How many businesses or locations can I run on one account?

Starter covers one business. Pro covers up to five. Agency is unlimited, and adds white-label views so your own clients see your branding rather than ours.

What is Lane, the AI assistant?

Lane is the AI built into Worklane. It drafts and sends replies across your inbox, answers questions on your website chat, books and reschedules appointments, chases reviews, and summarises what needs your attention each morning. The AI chat agent is on every plan. The AI voice agent, which answers your phone, is on Pro and Agency.

How many messages and voice minutes are included?

Starter includes 1,000 outbound messages and 60 voice minutes a month. Pro includes 5,000 messages and 500 voice minutes. Agency includes 25,000 messages and 3,000 voice minutes.

Can I use my own domain and website?

Yes. Every plan includes a custom domain. Worklane builds and hosts your marketing site, booking pages and forms, so the site and the CRM behind it are the same system rather than two tools that need syncing.

Can I move my existing contacts and data over?

Yes. Importing contacts, services and history is part of onboarding, and we do it with you on the Onboarding Call.

How do I get started or talk to someone?

Book a free Intro Call - a 20-minute conversation about how your business runs and whether Worklane fits. You can also start a 14-day trial directly from the pricing page without talking to anyone first, or email hello@worklane.ai.

Turn it on at the lowest setting and watch it work.
